Overview
Gangnam Festival, the largest urban festival unfolding across the entire city center, begins with a spectacular street parade to mark the opening. The festival transforms the entirety of Gangnam into one massive festival space featuring K-POP concerts, family concerts for the whole family to enjoy, a Fashion & Beauty Festa combining K-fashion and performance, and a Beer & Food Festa offering diverse culinary experiences. Getting there from Seoul
The festival area sits within Gangnam-gu at 320 Dosan-daero, so it's reachable directly by Seoul's subway network (lines serving Gangnam, such as Line 2, Line 3, Line 9, and the Bundang Line run through the district) or by taxi from central Seoul. Since the event spans several venues, check which program (parade, concerts, Fashion & Beauty Festa, Beer & Food Festa) you want first and pick the nearest subway stop to that area.
Tips
- Entry is free, but the festival runs across multiple separate venues (Dosandaero, Gaepo-dong Maru Park, Bongeunsa Temple), so plan your route between them.
- Hours are 11:00–22:00 each day from October 3–5, 2026 — arrive early for the opening parade if that's a priority.
- Bongeunsa Temple is a working temple as well as a venue, so dress and behave respectfully if you visit that site during the festival.
