Visitors can buy ramyeon fresh off the production line at Nongshim’s Gumi Factory and try a wide range of creative ramyeon dishes. The festival also offers themed exhibitions, hands-on activities, photo spots, stage performances, and various special events.

This is Korea's only downtown festival dedicated to ramyeon, held in the Gumi Station area. Visitors can buy ramyeon fresh off the production line at Nongshim's Gumi Factory, sample creative ramyeon dishes at pop-up restaurants, and enjoy themed exhibitions, photo spots, and stage performances — all for free. Note: details below reflect the 2025 edition; Gumi-si has not yet confirmed the full 2026 program.
Getting there from Seoul
Gumi sits on the KTX line, so a KTX train from Seoul Station or Yongsan Station to Gumi Station is the fastest option, taking under two hours. Since the festival is centered around the Gumi Station area, you won't need extra local transport once you arrive. Cheaper ITX or express bus options to Gumi are also available if you have more time.

- Program details are still based on the 2025 festival format — check closer to the date for the confirmed 2026 lineup.
- Go hungry and expect queues at the ramyeon pop-up stalls, especially on weekend afternoons.

Details for the 2026 festivals will be updated as they become available.*The Gimcheon Gimbap Festival is a local cultural tourism festival held in Gimcheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Gimbap may not be one of the city’s best-known specialties, but the festival was inspired by a playful word association between Gimcheon and “Gimbap Cheonguk (gimbap heaven).” The festival brings residents and visitors together with a lively mix of gimbap-themed activities, exhibitions, performances, and games. Visitors can make and taste gimbap themselves, with performances and hands-on activity zones offering something fun for all ages.

Yeongdong Nangye Korean Traditional Music Festival

The Yeongdong Nangye Korean Traditional Music Festival is an annual performing arts festival dedicated to gugak, Korea’s traditional music and one of Yeongdong-gun’s most treasured cultural assets. The festival also honors the musical legacy of Nangye Park Yeon, one of Korea’s most renowned traditional musicians, while contributing to the preservation and promotion of traditional performing arts. Building on the achievements of the 2025 Yeongdong World Traditional Music & Arts Expo, the 57th festival seeks to introduce gugak, a treasured element of Korea's cultural heritage, to a wider global audience and contribute to a new wave of global interest in Korean culture. As Korea’s only festival dedicated to traditional Korean music, it offers a wide range of performances and hands-on programs that reinterpret traditional performing arts for contemporary audiences. Through programs that reflect the unique character of Yeongdong, the festival also helps transform local cultural resources into a tourism assets. At the same time, it encourages community participation, enhances cultural engagement among residents, and serves as a vibrant celebration of local unity.

Yeongcheon Traditional Korean Medicine Festival

Yeongcheon Traditional Korean Medicine Festival features areas for oriental medicine health consultations and experiences, medicinal food, oriental medicine crafts, as well as spaces for family play and relaxation. The event introduces oriental medicine culture through health consultations and experiences with doctors of Korean medicine, as well as K-MEDI wellness programs based on oriental medicine. Programs such as herbal tea tasting, making medicinal herbs and scented pouches, skin, beauty, and healing experiences, and crafts and making activities for families are also offered. This festival is designed to allow visitors of various ages to experience Yeongcheon's traditional medicine resources through a program that extends from health consultations to hands-on activities, food, and relaxation.
